This past Saturday after Coralie's first birthday party I was one of the Hostesses for a Wedding Shower for my (soon-to-be) sister-in-love!
The shower was at the church & one of my favorite things about hosting a shower at our church is that they're easy! The women who usually host the showers (some of my co-hosts and the lovely ladies who hosted mine years ago) have gotten this down to an exact science of balancing between a nice simple shower & not getting too extravagant! There aren't expectations of Pinterest project details - it's just cake, punch and fellowship!
The showers are also Display Showers - I hadn't ever heard of a Display shower before mine, but they're great for larger guest lists or open invitation showers at churches!
I am so excited to have Stephanie join our family!
